How We Work

We work bravely to help you push past what you might see as the limitations of size or budget to pursue growth in these uncertain times.

Each engagement starts with a conversation and a clear understanding of your goals and objectives, as well as the challenges you face as a business. We take an objective look at your performance, commercial capabilities, and resources, and then align on key priorities.

We tailor our scope to meet your needs, and work as an extended member of your team, not as a consultant or freelancer. We join your leadership meetings, contribute to strategic decisions, and engage with your team, and our role can evolve as your business grows.

About Brave

A results-focused senior marketing executive, with strong sales leadership experience, David Bigioni founder of Brave Strategy, has a proven track record for driving extraordinary results.

He’s recognized as a strategic leader and key contributor to the senior leadership team, with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to develop a compelling vision to mobilize any organization. A change agent, with a strong sense of urgency, he motivates teams through a collaborative leadership style and entrepreneurial approach.

Prior to founding Brave Strategy, David served as Chief Commercial Officer at Canopy Growth, with a mandate to build enterprise value and rapidly scale commercial capability across marketing and sales. He led the development of the long range portfolio roadmap to meet evolving consumer needs, and oversaw an aggressive innovation agenda, introducing 100+ SKUs and five new brands in 12 months. During his tenure, Canopy’s revenue growth was +124% annually, reaching revenue of $440M F20 vs. $40M in F17. Strategy Magazine named David 2019 Marketer of the Year.

Before joining Canopy Growth, David served as Brand Director, VP Marketing and VP Sales at Molson Coors Canada, where he led Molson Canadian’s transformation back to growth after a 10-year decline, and launched two niche brands, which both exceeded their business cases by more than 70%. He also oversaw global brand expansion of Molson Canadian into Ireland (2013) and Australia (2015).

In 2015, David moved into a sales leadership role, and led the business to a market share turnaround after eight years of decline.

David began his career with Unilever, where he developed his tier-one CPG foundation in progressive sales and marketing roles, before opening the Toronto office of Arlene Dickinson’s Venture Communications. There, he worked with tier-one clients like Toyota, Subway Restaurants, Canada’s Walk of Fame, and the Canadian Cancer Society.
